About

I have worked for NEIU(Northeastern Illinois University) in multiple capacities, while attending as a student. I was a tutor and a student Aide in the UBMS (Upward Bound Math & Science) program. I'll never forget having the opportunity to touch the lives of High School Students from Chicago's public school system. My favorite accomplishment at Northeastern was being elected president of the chemistry club, and using my political power to bring a great educational opportunity to my fellow students, in the form of volunteer based access to the Pittcon, analytical chemistry conference @McCormick Place in Chicago, Illinois 2014.

After leaving NEIU, later that year, I looked seriously at entering military service and began training with the Marine Corp. I had a great ASVAB, did well on physical tests, and after many years of training, took the oath of enlistment, and shipped to boot camp. I ultimately did not complete my military service, due to issues with my mental health. I received an uncharacterized discharge. I still look fondly upon the time I invested and the experiences I shared with my Marine Corp family. I have grown from the experience and am a better person for it.

I was recently recognized for my scholarship and invited to join National Honor Society Alpha Iota Sigma. And then about a month later, I was recognized a second time for my leadership, and invited to join Omicron Delta Kappa the National Leadership Honor Society.

I've had many jobs prior to entering the gig economy in 2014. I worked for various restaurants & golf courses. I've provided computer technical services to the less tech savvy. I have traded on the stock market with some success, and I provide financial advice to family & friends whom know about my experiences there. I have bought and sold various items through e-commerce sites over the years. I've participated in projects requiring physical labor, such as demolition, construction, landscaping, and regular yard work. I enjoy citizen science projects, and have participated in local chapters in my state, as well as the ones available through Arizona State University.

After over 5 years with Uber, I have maintained an excellent rating, with an all time high of 4.98 and a current 4.97.
