The armed St. Louis couple who went viral after protecting their home from Black Lives Matter has come forward to explain what really happened, and it doesn't fit the left's narrative one bit.
Mark McCloskey, along with his wife Patricia, said the BLM thugs threatened to kill them and their dog after trespassing on their private property.
The McCloskey's tried calling 911, but said the police didn't show up so they felt they had no choice but to resort to their 2nd Amendment right to self-defense.

“It was like the storming of the Bastille, the gate came down and a large crowd of angry, aggressive people poured through,” Mark McCloskey said. “I was terrified that we’d be murdered within seconds. Our house would be burned down, our pets would be killed.” ... "A mob of at least 100 smashed through the historic wrought iron gates of Portland Place, destroying them, rushed towards my home where my family was having dinner outside and put us in fear for our lives," Mark McCloskey said, and shared photos of the destroyed gate. ... “One fellow standing right in front of me pulled out two pistol magazines, clicked them together and said 'you’re next.' That was the first death threat we got that night,” Mark McCloskey said.
The left has naturally smeared the couple who protected their home as "racists" and are claiming that the thugs are the real "victims."
But it's all a bit ironic considering Democrats are the ones who have been defending rioting, looting, and violent attacks on the police the past several weeks. And now they are so upset about a married couple peacefully standing on their property holding guns?
The chief prosecutor of St. Louis is even calling for an investigation in the McCloskey couple.
