Pelosi Panics, Steps In After Rep Omar's Primary Opponent Outraises Her by Millions

Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar has not done much but degrade and attack the United States since she became a member of Congress a little over a year ago.

A few months ago, it was reported that the FBI is investigating several claims that Omar married her own brother as a way to circumvent U.S immigration laws and gain entry illegally.

Now, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is reportedly stepping in to help after it appears Omar's bid for re-election is in serious jeopardy.

After reports that Omar is trailing her Democratic primary opponent by millions of dollars, Pelosi released a statement endorsing Omar and calling on voters from her Minnesota district to re-elect her.

Antone Melton-Meaux, one of four challengers to Omar in the Aug. 11 election, raised $3.2 million last quarter.

Omar only raised $472,000.

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi endorsed Rep. Ilhan Omar on Monday ahead of a primary election in which the freshman Democrat is trailing financially by millions of dollars. ... Omar is being challenged by Minnesota attorney Antone Melton-Meaux in a race that has caught the attention of Pro-Israel America and NORPAC. The pro-Israel political action committees have committed hundreds of thousands of dollars to unseating Omar, one of the most anti-Israel members of Congress, ahead of the Aug. 11 primary. From April to the end of June, Melton-Meaux outraised Omar by a staggering $3.2 million to under $500,000. Melton-Meaux’s campaign still has $2 million cash on hand versus Omar’s $1.1 million, according to the Minnesota Star Tribune.

The FBI is supposedly looking into claims that Omar married her brother as a way to circumvent U.S immigration laws and illegally gain entry into the country.

Earlier this year, the FBI allegedly met with someone in Minnesota in October who handed them a plethora of documents about the marriage of Omar and the man alleged to be her brother, Ahmed Nur Said Elmi.

The agents talked to the source about the rumors that Omar married the man in order to obtain a green card and get around immigration laws, the New York Post reported.

Omar has come under fire countless times in recent months for making abhorrent comments about the U.S. and Americans.

The Minnesota Democrat said it is “un-American” for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials to capture and detain illegal aliens.

During an interview before that on the Nation’s “Next Left” podcast, Omar insulted Trump voters and called them “ignorant.”

While speaking on Capitol Hill late back in May, Omar declared that “This is not going to be the country of white people.”

Before that, she was swiftly condemned for describing the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks as “some people did something.”

No wonder Pelosi is stepping in to help Omar.
