Kathy Griffin had a stint in the hospital this week, and just to be safe they placed her in a coronavirus isolation ward while they tried to figure out what was going on.
During her stay at the hospital, Griffin lashed out at President Trump and accused him of lying.
She was apparently furious that the CDC prioritized her below medical workers, first responders, and the elderly for coronavirus testing.
Griffin went on a rant against about not being able to get tested for COVID-19, even though she was not experiencing the symptoms associated with the virus.
The hospital took an x-ray of Griffin and it showed her lungs were all clear. Of course you would not have heard this from Griffin.
But Griffin was eventually sent home for an abdominal infection, proving the hospital was correct in choosing to not to test her.
But this didn't stop Griffin from continuing to stick to the COVID-19 angle.
From USA Today:
“The realization when they told me the guidelines was, ‘Wow … I now know not to come back unless my lungs are full with what feels like pieces of shattered mirror, unless I can’t breathe and unless my fever is 103 …,’” Griffin told the newspaper. “They’re not making the rules at all. That’s a frightening feeling."
Griffin added: “A lot of people, when they hear the president saying everyone who needs a test should get one, then shouldn’t have to then go to a hospital where, frankly, they may be exposing themselves or exposing others."
It's funny that no other celebrities have seemed to have any issues getting tested.
Perhaps the reason Griffin didn't get one is because the only symptoms she was exhibiting were for an abdominal infection and TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome).
