Biden Campaign Melts Down After Trump Announces Campaign Tour to Biden's Hometown

For this upcoming week, President Donald Trump will be on the campaign trail and will be visiting Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Minnesota and Arizona while the Democrats hold their DNC convention.

In a clear shot at former Vice President and 2020 Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden, President Trump will be visiting the former VP's hometown, Scranton, Pennsylvania on Thursday while Biden will be simultaneously delivering his virtual acceptance speech from his basement.

The Biden campaign was not happy about the President's decision.

In response to the decision by President Trump, a Biden spokesperson said: “While these fly-in, fly-out airport sideshows might protect Trump from seeing the damage that he has done to communities throughout this country, they will only underscore why we have to win this battle for the soul of our nation.”

The President's rapid response team fired back, "Team Biden is just jealous that, unlike Joe Biden, President Trump is actually able to go out, meet voters, and campaign!"

Biden has been confined to his home for several months considering his aids don't want him out in the open considering he continues to embarrass himself at public events.

On Tuesday, Biden and Senator Kamala Harris held a Coronavirus roundtable briefing.

The event had no curveballs considering Biden, as usual, struggled through the event and needed help from Harris to make it through.

Towards the end of the briefing when it was time to take questions from reporters, Biden's staffers, also known as his handlers, jumped in to kick reporters out of the room.

“Okay! Let’s go you guys! Come on! Let’s go!” Biden’s staffer said to reporters as she threw them out of the room. “Come on, guys! Let’s go! Come on!”

Even CNN took notice of the bizarre moment.

“We keep pressing the Biden campaign. There needs to be more questions from reporters.” CNN said on live TV.

The lack of transparency and the effort to block Biden from answering any questions comes at no surprise considering the former Vice President can't seem to make it through an interview without an embarrassing incident.

During an interview with CBS News correspondent Errol Barnett last week, Biden lost his mind after Barnett asked him if he had taken a cognitive test.

“Have you taken a cognitive test?” Barnett asked.

“No, I haven’t taken a test,” Biden fired back. “Why the hell would I take a test? Come on man, that’s like saying, you, before you got in this program, if you take a test where you’re taking cocaine or not, what do you think, huh? Are you a junkie?”

“What do you say to President Trump, who brags about his test and makes your mental state an issue for voters?” Barnett added.

“Well, if he can’t figure out the difference between an elephant and lion, I don’t know what the hell he’s talking about,” Biden bizarrely replied. “Did you watch that, look, come on man, I, I, I know you’re trying to goad me, but I mean I’m so forward looking to have an opportunity to sit with the president or stand with the president and debates. There gonna be plenty of time, and by the way, as I joke with’em, you know, I, I shouldn’t say it. I’m going to say something, I probably shouldn’t say.”

Biden finished, “Anyway, I am uh, I am very willing to let the American public judge my physical and mental fil- my physical as well as my mental fil- fitness.”

The question from Barnett comes after Biden stated in June that he was "constantly tested" for mental decline.

“Some have speculated that you are subject to some degree of cognitive decline,” a reporter said to Biden. “I’m 65, I don’t have word recollection that I used to have, I forgot my train of thought from time to time. You got 12 years on me, sir.”

“Have you been tested for some degree of cognitive decline?” the reporter questioned.

“I’ve been tested and I’m constantly tested,” Biden replied. “Look, all you got to do is watch me and I can hardly wait to compare my cognitive capability to the cognitive capability of the man I’m running against.”
