AOC Pledges Allegiance 'To The Drag'

It would appear as though far-left congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has some spare time on her hands.

While other members of Congress are focusing on the coronavirus crisis, AOC has something else on her mind... pledging allegiance 'to the drag.'

The freshman Democratic socialist is taking advantage of the opportunity to live what she has called a "dream" of hers.

No, her dream isn't becoming president like many other new generation politicians. That dream wasn't solving the crime, housing, or illegal immigration issues in her state of New York. No, her dream wasn't even figuring out a way to help solve the coronavirus. So what was her dream? It was appearing on a reality show hosted by drag queen RuPaul.

In case you aren't familiar with the show, 'RuPaul's Drag Race' is a reality show hosted by a drag queen celebrity. Apparently since America and her home state of New York are running so smoothly right now (gasp), AOC thought it'd be a great time to put her energy towards making a guest appearance on the show.

This is her "dream" after all, she couldn't possibly let a little issue like a worldwide pandemic and crippling economy stop her. Right?

Needless to say, she went for it. The teaser was just released, check it out:

The real punch came at the end of the clip when AOC puts her hand over her heart and declares, "I pledge allegiance to the drag."

Is nothing sacred anymore?

America is a country who's national anthem is centered around the meaning of our flag. Our country is built on the freedom we have obtained thanks to those who have sacrificed their lives for Old Glory.

But now our flag is being used as a punchline for a drag queen reality show, and the worst part is that it's by an elected United States Representative.

Let's be honest, this isn't the first time AOC has attacked America. But every time she does it feels like a direct insult.

How this woman ever got elected to office is beyond me. I'm just praying the voters in New York's 14th congressional district have seen the errors of their ways, and will not be making the same mistake this coming November.
